SQX Resources Limited has confirmed a growing gold system at its Red Bird Gold Project in Arizona, USA. The maiden 25-hole, 2,509m RC drilling program has defined a larger and more continuous system than previously understood, with mineralisation remaining open along strike and at depth. The results indicate a fault-controlled, strata-bound model with gold concentrated in low-dipping limy conglomerate units. New drilling intercepts include significant high-grade gold, such as 22.9m @ 2.8g/t Au and 4.6m @ 8.7g/t Au. IP geophysics is underway to identify further targets, and intercepts west of the main mine suggest a new area of prospectivity, indicating the system's true scale is yet to be defined.
